The poet Robert Frost says that “The best way out is always through.” Would you like to see what happens when you look at a problem or obstacle through the poet’s lense?
Set aside a few minutes in a quiet place today.
Sit comfortable and upright. Exhale slowly and gently, three times. Locate your breath and feel the rising and falling of your belly. Now bring the problem into view. Look it straight in the eye. Allow your breath to include the problem. Welcome whatever arises. Accept what is. Stay in your body and give thinking-mind a rest. Notice your breath: rising … falling … rising … falling.
See what shows up.
